I'm Lucas Vieira, a 24 year old guy interested in life, the Universe and everything. I currently live in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

My main interests are mathematics, physics, astronomy, computer programming, science, music and art. I don't believe in the false dichotomy between science and art, and to me they're integral parts of the essence of being human. The development, preservation and teaching of those is my main goal in life.

This website, especially my blog, will reflect this. My intention is to share what I know the best way I can, using as much interactivity and visualization as possible. There's a big problem in science teaching today, especially regarding mathematics and physics, so I hope I'll be able to do my part to fix a bit of that. I've been doing what I can on Wikipedia for the past few years, but I hope to do more.

I currently work as a web developer and Adobe Flash programmer for Fórmula P interactive, a local online advertising agency, and I plan to join an undergraduate course in physics soon.
